System Engineer/SME

Laurel, MD

Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide the bridge between Mission end users of the systems to be delivered and those who are architecting engineering and/or developing the system.  
-Support the development, review, and analysis of Mission CONOPs, requirements, scenarios, and use cases that accurately reflect end users’ needs. 
-Assist project members with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimizations, development, and maintenance efforts.  
-Support information management transformation. 
-Maintain cognizance of all operational requirements, ensuring that the spirit of the requirements is preserves across programmatic and acquisition activities.  
-Articulate/white board ideas to all levels of management. 
-Provide lifecycle sustainment support.  

Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of CMI6 and enclave environments 
-Experienced in Active Directory to include Active Roles Administration Service (ARS) and Group Policy Object (GPO) 
-Experienced in Azure file shares and Distributed File Systems (DFS) 
-Experience with CITRIC, VMWare Firewalls, and Exchange at the Tier 3 level  
-Experience displaying skill areas including operating systems (Windows, UNIX, LINUX), Virtual Desktops (Citrix, VMWare), User Management and Permissions, (Active Directory, Centrify) 
-Extensive knowledge of M365 
-Knowledge of full lifecycle management techniques testing, integration, change management, security and authentication services 
-Experience conducting configuration management on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions 
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
-Extensive Project Management experience
