Database Administrator

Ft. Meade, MD

-Maintain and improve the integrity, security, and availability of the numerous on- premises Customer systems and databases (e.g., Oracle);
-Maintain and improve the integrity, security, and availability of the numerous cloud- native Customer systems and databases (e.g., Oracle); 
-Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, monitoring of the data storage, user account maintenance, schema maintenance, hardware maintenance, and other Database Administration (DBA) tasks; 
-Be responsible for each patch and upgrade maintenance, development and implementation of policies and procedures that maintain the security and integrity of the database;
-Enable record-level user authentication schemas of the database Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM);
-Maintain and improve large-scale database implementations (e.g., Convention Big Data, graph data, or RDBMS); 
-Utilize requirements to develop technical specifications and a solution to the specifications; 
-Ensure data from legacy systems continues to be supported in all product suites and that all aspects of the software development life cycle take place (design, development, testing, and support of new features for the data warehouse); 
-Integrate cloud-based, big data solutions that ingest, normalize, and store data for mission adaptive needs; 
-Apply sound cloud-based data acquisition, protection, analysis, and transport techniques when storing and accessing unknown data for downstream analysis and definition for mission adaptive needs; 
-Apply sound cloud-based data storage techniques that optimize data access performance and operating costs associated with hot, warm, and cold data architectures for mission adaptive needs; 
-Convert ingested data into S&CI data formats and schemas for mission adaptive needs;
-Handle the resulting datasets as highly sensitive, including S&CI data protection standards per policy requirements for mission adaptive needs; 
-Support conversion of legacy case management workflow/data and case data for modern case management workflow tool usage; 
-Provide interoperability support to the team(s) developing cloud-native Customer capabilities -infrastructure/platform, tools, data, algorithms, and fabric; and 
-Provide interoperability support to the team(s) sustaining existing Customer capabilities – infrastructure/platform, tools, data, algorithms, and fabric.
